How to see positive and negative for new coronavirus antigen detection?

Posted by Admin | 16 Dec

Generally speaking, it is a bar negative, and two bars positive.

The Novel Coronavirus antigen test C and T represent two zones on the Novel Coronavirus antigen test kit, C is the quality control area on the test strip, and T is the test area.

C is the quality control area on the test paper, which usually shows whether the reagent is effective and it means the reagent is normal; T is the test area and it is positive.

After antigen detection and sampling, place the nasal swab in the sampling tube according to the reagent instructions. The swab head should be rotated and mixed in the storage solution for at least 30 seconds, and squeeze the swab head through the outer wall of the sampling tube at least 5 times to ensure that the sample is fully eluted in the sampling tube.

Use your hands to squeeze the liquid in the swab head through the outer wall of the sampling tube, and then discard the swab. After the sampling tube cover, drop the liquid vertically into the test card sample hole.

According to the reagent instructions, wait for a certain time after the result interpretation.

Positive results: The "C" and "T" bands show red or purple bands, and the "T" bands are dark or light, and both are positive results.

Negative result: a red or purple band appears at "C" and no band appears at "T".

Invalid result: No red or purple bands appear at "C", whether at "T". The result is invalid, need to take the strip to retest.
