The shelf life of ELISA kits is generally one year, and if properly stored, will not present a problem. But do not repeat the freeze and thaw. Recommend that the ELISA kit should run up once after freezing. After the opening, the remaining reagents should be stored according to the temperature indicated on the bottle label. The opened microplate of the ELISA test kit should be sealed with desiccant and sealed at-20℃ to avoid wetting.
However, it should be noted that if the ELISA kit is just taken out of the refrigerator and immediately used, it may affect that its direct result is the false negative detection of some weak positive specimens.
1. Usually commercial microplate requires closed 4℃ preservation, long-term exposed or not closed preservation, or failure, or the results are unreliable data; if the package of the plate, perhaps the validity period is shorter, the preservation condition requirements are higher, as for the color rendering agent, will not fail within one day under normal conditions.
2. Whether the third board * according to the first two boards plus all reagents, if the absence of a certain process, the results will be colorless. Note: Take it out of the refrigerator and place it at room temperature for more than 20 minutes, then determine to balance the kit with room temperature before using the ELISA kit. The intention of this is mainly to make the temperature in the reaction micropore reach the required height quickly in the subsequent reaction process, in order to meet the measurement requirements.
