The lung is the "essence of human qi". It is not only responsible for the breath of qi, but also for the whole body of qi. It is closely related to the generation and operation of the human body qi. It is the channel for the exchange of qi and turbid qi inside and outside the body and can assist the heart which is the main blood vessel to circulate blood and penetrate the blood vessels. Five things should be done well in lung protection:

Rub your nose. Rub the outside of the thumbs of both hands until they feel warm, then massage up and down along the bridge of the nose and both sides of the nose 30 times, and then massage the Yingxiang acupoint 20 times. People who are allergic to cold air are prone to nasal congestion and runny nose. Frequent nasal massage can relieve symptoms.

Mock the throat. The thumb and the other four fingers are open, and the tiger's mouth is against the throat. Sit or stand upright, raise your head, straighten your neck, and massage your hands down along your throat until you reach your chest, alternating your hands 30 times, which can be done 2 to 3 times in a row. This method has the functions of facilitating the pharynx, relieving cough, and resolving phlegm.

Tuna. Before going to bed or just getting up, lie on the bed and do abdominal breathing, slowly and deeply inhale, and then exhale, and repeat 30 times.

Beat the back. Sit upright, keep your back straight, eyes slightly closed, hold your hands into empty fists, and beat along your back, from bottom to top, and then from top to bottom, and so on. First hit the center of the back, then the left and right sides, and so on 3 to 4 times. When beating the back, stop breathing, knock the teeth 5 to 10 times at the same time, and slowly swallow the body fluid several times. This method helps to prevent colds.

Laugh often. Laughter can make people's chests expand, chest muscles stretch, and vital capacity increase. They also unconsciously take deep breaths and clean up the respiratory tract. When people laugh, they can inhale more oxygen, exhale exhaust gas, speed up blood circulation, help relieve fatigue and restore physical strength.

In addition, some medicated meals also have the effects of tonifying qi and benefiting the lungs, nourishing yin, and clearing the lungs. For example, for Huangqi chrysanthemum tea, take 10 grams of Huangqi and Chinese wolfberry respectively, add 1200 ml of water, boil it in high heat, and decoct it for 10 minutes at low heat, then add 6 yellow chrysanthemum flowers, and decoct it for 5 minutes at low heat, add the proper amount of rock sugar to taste, and drink it as tea; Raw pear and fritillary soup, take a fresh pear, wash, peel and pit it, cut it into small pieces, put it into a bowl or stew cup with 3 to 5 grams of Sichuan fritillary and half of the orange peel, add 300 ml of water, steam it in the cage for half an hour, pick out the fritillary and orange peel, drink the soup and eat the pear.
