8 Well Enzyme Strips and Plates

Posted by Admin | 04 May
8 well enzyme strips & plates provide an alternative to the standard 96-well microplate format. In certain situations, the 96-well format may be restrictive due to limited space for standards or controls or a downstream process that requires a larger sample size to be processed. This can result in reducing or splitting samples, increasing the number of plate reagents and standards, extending time to analyze the entire plate, and additional costs associated with sample tracking, data files, and supplemental materials.
EnBase Glucoamylase Controlled Cultivation
Our novel EnBase method is robust and simple-to-apply for high cell density cultivation in 96-well plates and shake flasks. It is based on the enzymatically controlled release of a glucose-limited fed-batch of starch degrading enzyme (glucoamylase). This approach solves problems with uncontrolled growth, oxygen limitation, and severe pH drop that may be found in shaken cultures. In parallel, it offers the basis for enhanced cell densities and may prove to be a valuable tool especially in high throughput applications such as bioremediation.
Filter Plates / Cell Culture Trays for Assaying Suspension and Adherent Cell Lines
These high-capacity filter plates feature an ultra-fine, pore-size micron-sized membrane with excellent permeability. This allows for better cell aggregation and differentiation than traditional plastic substrates, as well as improved assay performance, especially in transport, toxicity and screening assays.
Strepavidin Coated ELISA Plates and Strips for Biotinylation Detection
Streptavidin-coated plates, in 8-well strip format, provide up to 5-fold more biotinylating capacity than standard streptavidin-coated plates. This allows for increased protein enzymatic binding and lower background. They are used in ELISA assays for the detection of biotinylated proteins, and can be applied in a wide range of assays.
ELISA/EIA Plates and Strips for Cell Culture in Frames
ELISA/EIA Plates & Strips are designed for use in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) and enzyme immunoassays (EIA) where uniform absorption of antibodies is required, and for cell culture (cell attachment and growth). They are specially treated and gamma-irradiated to enhance protein binding and reduce background. They are precision molded from selected polystyrene for minimal well-to-well/plate-to-plate variation and uniformly low background readings. They also feature raised rims on each well to minimize possible cross-contamination and alpha-numeric well designations to provide quick sample location.
MultiScreenHTS Plates for Automated Workstations
Millipore MultiScreenHTS plates are designed for automated workstations and are ideal for use with automated microplate readers. These plates feature rigid sidewalls for ease of handling and ample surfaces for bar code labels. They are available in 96- and 384-well formats with various membranes and plastics to meet your specific application requirements.
Well-Coated(tm) Protein A/G Plates for Immunoglobulin Detection
Well-Coated(tm) protein A/G plates are coated with a constant (Fc) region of immunoglobulin proteins to provide optimal exposure of the antibody binding site. This results in a higher antibody capacity than plates that are coated directly with antibodies.
A wide range of immunoglobulins are compatible with these plates. They include monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antibodies, and recombinant proteins for enhanced specificity.
